In A Pickle is a high-energy pickleball club in Canandaigua built for players of all levels. With 10 premium indoor courts and a welcoming atmosphere, we've created a space where beginners feel comfortable, competitors feel challenged, and everyone feels part of the community.

Not at all! Pickleball is fun, social, and simple to learn, making it perfect for all ages and athletic backgrounds. Whether you've never picked up a paddle or are transitioning from tennis or another sport, our club is the perfect place to get started. We offer Pickleball 101 classes designed specifically for beginners who want a confident introduction to the game.
Court reservations can be made online through our booking system or at the front desk. A court reservation lets you book a pickleball court for a specific date and time so it's reserved just for you and your group. Members get 14 days of advanced booking and three waived court fees with a Standard membership.
Open Play is a drop-in format where you sign up, show up, and play. You'll rotate in with other players of all skill levels. A Court Reservation guarantees a specific court for your group during your selected time, so you won't need to rotate or wait. Court reservations are ideal for private games, practice sessions, or lessons.
No, guests are always welcome! Guest rates are $15 for 2 hours of Open Play. For Court Reservations, the guest fee is $12.50 per person, per hour, with a minimum of four players required. Memberships offer benefits like unlimited Open Play, waived court fees, advanced booking, and discounts on the pro shop, leagues, and lessons.
Level-Based Open Play allows 3.5+ level players to compete with others at a similar skill level, creating more consistent and competitive games. Participation requires either a DUPR score that reflects the level you wish to play at, or an official rating from one of our coaches, which will be entered into our system. The guest rate is $15 for 2 hours.
Yes! Our Pickleball 101 classes are designed specifically for beginners. You'll learn basic rules and scoring, court layout and positioning, proper grip and fundamental strokes, serving and return techniques, and game flow and etiquette. Classes are led by experienced instructors in a relaxed, encouraging environment. No prior experience is required.
Just bring yourself and wear comfortable athletic clothing with court-appropriate shoes. Equipment is available if needed. After completing a Pickleball 101 class, you'll be ready to join beginner open play, clinics, or leagues at the club.
